Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Data Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop modern data warehouse solutions utilizing Snowflake and ADF.
  • Collaborate with DW/BI leads to understand new ETL pipeline development requirements.
  • Triage issues to identify gaps in existing pipelines and implement fixes.
  • Work with stakeholders to comprehend reporting needs and develop a data model to meet those requirements.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Total 6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years of experience in data warehouse/ETL projects.
  • Required Skills:
  • Expertise in Snowflake security, Snowflake SQL, and designing/implementing other Snowflake objects.
  • Hands-on experience with SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Snowsight, and Snowflake connectors.
  • Deep understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles.
  • Good comprehension of Databricks Data & AI platform and Databricks Delta Lake Architecture.
  • Experience working with structured and unstructured data including imaging and geospatial data.
  • Experience working in a Dev/Ops environment with tools such as Terraform, CircleCI, GIT.
  • Proficiency in RDBMS, complex SQL, PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and query optimization.
