Seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as an MES Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing software systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution:
    • Identify and resolve issues with the MES software and hardware to prevent production downtime.
  • System Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Monitor system performance, implement updates, and make necessary adjustments to optimize the MES for efficiency and quality.
  • Implementation and Configuration:
    • Assist in the implementation and configuration of new MES systems and integrate them with other enterprise systems.
  • Data Management and Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze real-time data from the shop floor to identify bottlenecks, track production, and improve decision-making.
  • User Support and Training:
    • Provide technical assistance to production staff and develop training materials to help them use the MES effectively.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including protocols, reports, and user guides, for the MES.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure the MES supports quality management by tracking deviations and exceptions, contributing to improved quality control.
Key Skills and Knowledge
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency with MES software, understanding of databases, and familiarity with system integration.
  • Manufacturing Processes:
    • A solid understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, from order release to finished goods, and common production challenges.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Ability to collect, interpret, and use data to drive improvements in production.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with production teams and provide training.
