Business Analyst - Capital Markets

This role entails a pivotal position in analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements for Equity Cash, Equity Index, and Derivatives trading systems.

You will work closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to deliver enhancements and new functionalities that improve trading, clearing, and settlement processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories, maintaining and updating Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
  • Collaborate with solution architects and developers to ensure requirements are technically feasible, participating in design walkthroughs and providing business context.
  • Prepare and review test cases for functional and UAT phases, coordinating UAT execution, defect triage, and resolution tracking.
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usability.
Preferred Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related field, with professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, Agile BA, NCFM Capital Markets) preferred.
  • 3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or capital markets technology, hands-on experience with trading platforms, order management systems, or exchange connectivity.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance in securities markets, strong understanding of capital markets, trade life cycle, and derivatives products, proficiency in business analysis tools (Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office).
