Job Overview

The Assistant Manager IT Operations will support the IT Operations Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT department. This role involves managing IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability and reliability of IT systems, and leading a team of IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability and reliability of IT systems.

  • Supervise and mentor IT staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of all IT systems and data.
  • Oversee incident management processes, ensuring that incidents are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the IT operations team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar.
