Electrical Engineering Opportunity

Orbit Skyline is seeking a skilled electrical engineer with expertise in various electronics and electrical components. This candidate will be part of a team providing efficient engineering support and solutions to customers, while contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Job Description:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
  • Work on obsolescence activities to qualify replacements, perform testing to qualify and release in the system along with documentation
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, system, and process engineering) in different geographies to develop and qualify engineering solutions
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that will develop into detailed drawings to manufacture those concepts.
  • Participate in design reviews to present the design throughout different phases of design and development
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or electronic engineering with 3-5 years of experience
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings

  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics and system interconnect
  • Ability to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Critical and system-level thinking
  • Good project management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills:
  • Exposure to working on part lifecycle management, change orders using any PLM system
  • Experience in electronic components obsolescence
  • Understanding of PCB and components
  • Hands-on experience with testing electronics components (bench-level test and system-level test)
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software
