Job Summary

As a Data Analyst specializing in Commercial Insurance Data Analytics, you will play a key role in analyzing and interpreting structured and unstructured data to provide actionable insights. Your work will directly support our U.S. client's business objectives by ensuring data-driven decisions that improve operational efficiency and strategic outcomes. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and domain experts, testing analytical results and presenting insights to key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation
    • Analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources within the Commercial Insurance domain.
    • Interpret complex data sets and provide clear, actionable insights to domain users.
    • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Data Processing
    • Perform data processing tasks including slicing, dicing, querying, and cleaning of data to prepare it for analysis.
    • Use tools such as Microsoft Excel and Python to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
  • Testing & Validation
    • Test and validate analytical results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Collaborate with data engineers to refine data models and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Work closely with domain users to understand their needs and tailor analyses.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience & Domain Knowledge
    • 4-6 years of experience in data analytics, with a strong focus on the Commercial Insurance domain.
    • Deep understanding of the nuances of Commercial Insurance data and the ability to translate data into business insights.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in data processing and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, and SQL.
    • Experience with Postman and Rest API for querying and interacting with data sources.
    • Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data, with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Soft Skills
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Highly motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work in shifts that align with U.S. client requirements.
  • Eagerness to work in a collaborative environment alongside data engineers and other technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with U.S. based clients, particularly in the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with advanced data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
