Senior Content Editor Position

About Us

The organization seeks skilled Senior Content Editors to join its team in Chennai. As a key member of the editorial team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality content that resonates with our audience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement content strategies in collaboration with senior management.
  • Curate engaging content focused on education, careers, innovations, student initiatives, and campus life.
  • Contribute fresh story ideas and support field reporting as needed.
  • Coordinate with designers and digital teams to ensure timely and quality content delivery.
  • Lead and mentor writers and interns to achieve consistency in content quality.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to plan and structure content for print and web editions.
  • Assign tasks, track progress, and provide editorial feedback to improve team performance.
  • Edit and proofread articles for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 8 – 12 years of experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on education, youth, or career-related content.
  • Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills with impeccable grammar.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.
  • Familiarity with digital publishing tools and social media platforms is an added advantage.
