- We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a wireless network expert.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Cisco R&S, wireless, and QoS.
- They should also have deep understanding of WLAN technologies, network management, and security, including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax WLAN standards and industry best practices.
- A strong background in NexGen Wifi (WiFi-6) is essential.
- The candidate should have hands-on experience with wireless LAN controller and Cisco AP troubleshooting as well as with the Cisco WLC IOS Code upgrade.
- Excellent knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco WLC models like 9800, 8500, 5520, 5508, 2504, 5508 with HA SSO and all models of Cisco APs including wave 2 and next generation 9100 series APs.
- Strong expertise in troubleshooting & debugging on Cisco WLC and Access Points + WLAN infrastructure like Cisco Prime, DNAC, Cisco ISE, etc.
- Experience with access point configuration in CAPWAP and Mobility Express solutions.
- Ability to migrate traffic from Flex connect to Local mode and vice versa.
- Prior experience with emerging network technologies such as SDN, converged infrastructure is a plus.
