At Lilly, we're unifying care and discovery to enhance life globally.

We seek a seasoned software professional to lead the development of scalable server-side applications using Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or Hapi.js.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance server-side applications, implementing cloud-native microservices, and maintaining user-facing features using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or Hapi.js.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Develop cloud-native microservices and serverless applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Frontend Development: Implement and maintain user-facing features using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Backend Experience: Strong understanding of API design, REST, GraphQL, and real-time data flow using WebSockets.
  • Database: Proficient in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar databases, including schema design and query optimization.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.2 standards.
  • Experience with design systems like Material UI or Ant Design.
  • Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimization techniques.

Soft Skills:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across backend, frontend, DevOps, and product teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional software development experience.
