We are seeking a proactive Field Account Manager to drive sales results for mid-size and large accounts in a defined territory. This role is responsible for developing strong customer relationships in emerging market segments, alongside our existing market segments. An essential part of this position is the active use of a CRM system to manage all sales activities and customer interactions to achieve targets.
Main Responsibilities- Promote products and services within an assigned geographic area to achieve sales and revenue targets.
- Identify new business opportunities aligned with our market strategy.
- Use SFDC to manage and document leads, opportunities, and customer interactions, ensuring information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights, and track sales performance.
- Drive newly launched products into the marketplace and follow up on successful implementation of sales activities.
- Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, and suggest products as appropriate.
- Develop account plans, coordinating resources to align with these plans.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to create higher market perception and gain new business.
- Coordinate marketing activities in the assigned territory.
- An academic degree in life sciences or engineering. A higher level of education is beneficial.
- Extensive field sales experience, preferably in laboratory or process-based Life Science.
- Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented, with ability to work independently.
- Good teamwork skills and proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to travel frequently.
- Proven software skills, including Microsoft Office.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market and be able to develop effective strategies to drive sales growth.
This role requires a high level of autonomy and self-motivation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
