Infrastructure Optimization Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead the design, optimization, and automation of CAD/EDA infrastructure for global design teams.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience with LSF and RTM deployment, architecture, and maintenance in distributed environments. Strong expertise in Linux systems, FLEXLM, and EDA license management is essential. Hands-on automation scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell scripting) and knowledge of IT infrastructure (Linux, LAN/WAN) are also required.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Define and implement advanced LSF features such as license fair share, preemption, and global EDA tool license sharing.
  • Lead the transformation of CAD-Infrastructure LSF setup to optimize resource usage across worldwide teams.
  • Architect and implement development, testing, and production environments for LSF enhancement.
  • Automate key infrastructure processes such as resource utilization reporting, demand-supply analysis, and system health monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and proactive monitoring tools to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to deploy, maintain, and enhance LSF and RTM solutions.

Desirable Skills: Experience with version control tools (Perforce, Methodic) and understanding of EDA tools, license features, and use cases.
