Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines that meet the needs of our organization.
  • Implement data transformation logic using PySpark and SQL for batch and streaming workloads.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Manage structured and unstructured data across various sources and formats.
  • Optimize Spark workloads and troubleshoot data pipeline issues.
  • Configure environments, clusters, and user access in Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all data platforms.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is mandatory.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and PySpark is required.
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for orchestrating data workflows is essential.
  • Solid understanding of Databricks including Spark Core, Spark SQL, and Spark Streaming is necessary.
  • Experience with real-time and batch data processing is desired.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and ETL methodologies is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Logic Apps is a plus.
  • Exposure to Delta Lake, Databricks ML, and Databricks migration projects is advantageous.
  • Certifications in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, or Databricks are desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is valuable.
