Job Opportunity:

The Emergency Response Assistant will play a pivotal role in assisting our emergency response team in handling urgent animal emergencies, rescues, and cruelty cases.

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution and have experience handling emergency and cruelty-case responses for animals. Proficiency in computer skills, fluency in Hindi and English, and knowledge of other local Indian languages are also essential.

This role demands exceptional organisational and time-management skills, including multi-tasking, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills. A compassionate, responsible, and self-driven individual is required to maintain high standards in their work.

The selected candidate will be responsible for responding to emergency and general cruelty-case calls and e-mails in a timely and appropriate manner. They will also arrange hands-on help for animals in need with the assistance of senior paravets and office assistants, in accordance with our standard operating procedures.

In addition, the candidate will coordinate effectively with approved animal-protection organisations, volunteers, activists, government bodies, and designated officials to facilitate emergency rescues in remote areas across the country.

This is a full-time position requiring working as per a roster-based schedule, which includes morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts, with two rotational weekly offs.
