Azure Cloud Architects are responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement Azure IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and backup services.
- Monitor and maintain azure infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Implement and manage Azure governance solutions, including role-based access control (RBAC) and resource policies.
- Perform regular health checks and security assessments of Azure environments, identifying and addressing potential issues.
Our ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Azure services, including virtual networks, load balancers, application gateways, and front door. Additionally, experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools is highly valued.
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively are essential for this role. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with internal teams to understand and meet their infrastructure needs, providing guidance on best practices for using Azure services.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 2 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, with a focus on Azure. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, is also an advantage.
