The role of an accounting professional is to ensure the financial health and stability of a company. This position requires strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Issuance of Debit Notes: Generate and send debit notes to vendors in a timely manner.
  • Inter-Company Accounting: Maintain accurate records of all inter-company transactions, including debits and credits.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts with vendors and other companies to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Vendor Management: Create and update vendor cards as needed, ensuring up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with GL Coordinators and other teams to gather data and ensure completeness of financial records.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • GL Process Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of general ledger processes and procedures.
  • Aging Report: Use aging reports to determine which vendors require payment based on their current status.
  • Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Prepare bank reconciliation statements and upload positive pay details daily.

Requirements:

  • Accounting Standards: Knowledge of basic accounting standards and rules.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems such as Navision-Microsoft Dynamics and D-365.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English.
  • Global Experience: Exposure to medium to large outsourcing companies (5-6 years).
  • Qualifications: B Com/M Com/ICWA/CA Foundation degree.
