About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Post Trade Architect to join our team at Tower Research Capital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture for our Post-Trade platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the technical design and architecture for the Post-Trade platform, ensuring alignment with Tower's overall technology direction while effectively weighing trade-offs.
  • Architect, develop, and optimize tools for key areas such as Reference Data Management, Trade Capture, Reconciliation, P&L, Trade Cost Management, Surveillance, Compliance, and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Core Engineering to ensure consistency and integration across platforms.
  • Work with global stakeholders to translate business needs into robust, scalable technical solutions, facilitating efficient execution of business functions.
  • Drive the end-to-end design and development of projects/products, fostering innovation in building the next generation of middle-office and back-office applications.
  • Advocate and implement process improvements, focusing on automation, better monitoring tools, and continuous integration/delivery practices.
  • Ensure the architecture supports a data-intensive environment, optimizing for performance, reliability, and scalability.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and improving complex information systems, with a strong emphasis on data-intensive architectures.
  • Deep proficiency in both Java and Python, with experience in building and optimizing data ETL pipelines.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes, with the ability to manage and optimize development environments within a CI/CD framework.
  • Extensive experience with RDBMS, coupled with familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and communicate decisions and trade-offs decisively.
  • Linux system administration skills, along with knowledge of shell scripting.
  • Prior experience in the financial services domain is a strong plus.
