About the Opportunity

This is a senior role requiring 8-10 years of experience in frontend development.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular (v18 and above), including RxJS, TypeScript, CLI, and advanced component architecture.

They should also have a deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and JavaScript ES6+

Other key skills include team leadership, scalable UI design, REST API integration, responsive design, Jest testing, Git, Agile/Scrum, Storybook, and micro frontends.

The successful candidate will lead and inspire a passionate UI team to architect, design, and deliver large-scale, high-performance web applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of front-end/UI developers
  • Architect and develop complex, large-scale web applications using Angular (v18+)
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Establish best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous integration/deployment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Backend) to deliver clean, maintainable solutions
  • Review, troubleshoot, and resolve code, performance, and integration issues
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in front-end development
  • Facilitate code reviews, provide feedback, and build a collaborative engineering culture
  • Document technical solutions, UI standards, and architectural decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in UI/front-end development
  • Strong expertise in Angular (v18 and above), including RxJS, TypeScript, CLI, and advanced component architecture
  • Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/SASS, and JavaScript ES6+
  • Experience with state management libraries (NgRx)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JWT, and integration with backend services
  • Hands-on experience with build tools (Webpack, npm, etc.) and version control systems (Git)
  • Solid understanding of responsive, adaptive, and cross-browser compatible UI design
  • Knowledge of front-end testing framework (Jest)
  • Experience using Storybook for Angular to develop, test, and document UI components in isolation
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
