Instructional Designer

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join our team for a 6-month contract. This is a full-time, work-from-home role based in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate raw video footage into engaging series of videos that enhance learning.
  • Translate narrative scripts into comprehensive storyboards that hold the student's attention.

Visualization and Review:

  • Use visual medium to convey ideas and enhance learning by creating visual representations of concepts.
  • Check the quality of videos received from the video editors.

Co-ordination and Learning Management System:

  • Interact with teammates and extended teams (video editing partners) to create top-quality products.
  • Manage content and develop assets on the Learning Management System.
  • Review and edit closed caption text for all the videos.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree plus 2-3 years of experience in Instructional Designing in Higher Education or Corporate Education.
  • Specialized knowledge: Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, MS Office skills, and especially MS PowerPoint skills.
  • Professional certification: Instructional design, video editing a plus.
