About the Role : This position involves leading the design configuration and deployment of industrial automation systems across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design configuration and deployment of industrial automation systems
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure seamless integration of operational technology (OT) systems with enterprise IT systems
  • Develop and maintain secure and efficient data exchange using various protocols
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
Required Skills and Qualifications :
  • Proven expertise with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation including scripting module configuration and project deployment
  • Strong background in manufacturing execution systems (MES), production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, traceability, and SPC
  • Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms such as Azure IoT, AWS IoT
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation and Industry 4.0 projects
  • Certifications such as Ignition Gold Certified Specialist or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications
