About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radio-pharmaceuticals, positioning patients and equipment, and entering data into computer systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Examination Rooms: Ensure patient examination rooms are prepared for safe and efficient use.
  • Administering Radio-Pharmaceuticals: Administer radio-pharmaceuticals to patients for clear, usable images.
  • Positioning Patients and Equipment: Position patients and equipment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Data Entry and Monitoring: Enter commands and data into the computer to document scan sequences, monitor video displays, and adjust density or contrast.
  • Patient Safety and Care: Monitor patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent radiation exposure.
  • Diagnostic Imaging and Reporting: Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records.
  • Scheduling and Administrative Tasks: Organize daily procedure schedules, perform administrative tasks such as answering technical questions and scheduling appointments.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Radiologic Sciences or related field.
  • Certification from relevant professional organizations.
  • Proven experience in nuclear medicine technology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
