Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist Associate to join our Omni Channel & Strategic initiative analytics team. As a Data Scientist Associate, you will work closely with a lead data scientist to improve business processes leveraging data science tools and techniques.

Your primary responsibilities will include understanding business requirements, converting them into analytical solutions, analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns, developing data science algorithms, and generating actionable insights as per business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Develop data science algorithms and generate actionable insights as per business needs
  • Manage day-to-day leadership and stakeholder communication, including development plans
  • Document work appropriately for production support and transition readiness
  • Acquire and enhance understanding of the US healthcare domain
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • B. Tech and/or MS in computer science or equivalent
  • 12+ months of hands-on experience solving real-world business problems leveraging data science tools
  • Experience building NLP models and training data sets
  • Working experience of NLP skills, including Text Classification, Summarization, Entity Recognition, Natural Language Generation, and Transfer Learning Concepts
  • Sound knowledge of Text (Unstructured data) data handling and manipulation
  • Programming skills in R/Python with PYTORCH/TensorFlow, and knowledge of leveraging pre-trained models via Transfer Learning
  • Proficient in MS Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating good levels of maturity
  • Proven excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven excellent problem-solving and story-telling abilities with an analytical mindset
  • Proven excellent interpersonal and team skills
Preferred Qualification
  • Understanding and experience of SparkNLP framework
