Job Overview

As a Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for spearheading end-to-end initiatives in the Gen AI domain.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing comprehensive strategies from business understanding to deployment
  • Interpreting and analyzing complex findings
  • Drawing conclusions and recommendations, including projected benefits and measuring ROI for enhancing business processes
  • Providing support for pre-sales activities and initiatives

Requirements include:

  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and experience with Generative AI (LLM/LMM) focusing on Natural Language Processing or multi-modal models
  • Experience with business requirements gathering, transforming them into technical plans, data processing, feature engineering, model evaluation, hypothesis testing, and model deployment
  • Proficiency in Python, working knowledge of SQL, and vector databases
  • Knowledge of specific DS/ML/CVGenAI/NLP libraries such as NumPy, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain, and GenAI APIs like OpenAI/Gemini

Nice to have: experience in working with big data and distributed environments, commercial experience proven by multiple successful projects in the area of Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision.

General skills required include good computer programming skills, familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts, expertise in Azure cloud resources, Databricks, hands-on experience with Docker for containerization, strong business acumen, ability to come up with creative solutions to address customer problems, and ability to lead small technical teams on projects.
