SAP Financial Management Consultant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP financial management consultant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of SAP FI modules, expertise in configuring SAP FI system settings, and mastery of financial transaction processing.

  • SAP FI Modules:
  • General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL)
  • Accounts Payable (FI-AP)
  • Accounts Receivable (FI-AR)
  • Asset Accounting (FI-AA)
  • Bank Accounting (FI-BL)
  • Special Purpose Ledger and Travel Management (optional)

The successful candidate will be proficient with SAP transaction codes related to FI, have experience with integration of SAP FI with other modules, and possess knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics. They will also be able to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure SAP FI system settings such as chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
  • Process financial transactions including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
  • Integrate SAP FI with other modules like MM, SD, and CO.
  • Generate financial statements and audit reports using SAP FI reporting and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of SAP FI modules.
  • Expertise in configuring SAP FI system settings.
  • Mastery of financial transaction processing.
  • Proficient with SAP transaction codes related to FI.
  • Experience with integration of SAP FI with other modules.
  • Possess knowledge of SAP FI reporting and analytics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP certification, Fiori, and SAP Activate methodology.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance features.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements such as IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws.
