Job Description

Kotak Mahindra Bank is seeking a highly skilled Director of Retail Liabilities and Operations to lead our branch banking efforts.

About the Role:

  • Drive revenue growth through sales of deposit products and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring excellent customer experiences.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance productivity, morale, and overall performance of branch personnel.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and effective branch administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the deposit pool from customers by developing and executing effective sales strategies.
  • Sale of non-deposit products, including Mutual Funds and Insurance, with a focus on cross-selling targets.
  • Manage fee income and ensure efficient branch operations.
  • Liaise with product management teams, marketing, and other centers for new product development, service enhancements, and sales initiatives.

Requirements:

  • MBA or CA/CAIIB degree with at least 10 years of banking experience, preferably in retail liabilities.
  • Proven sales experience and exposure, with a strong understanding of financial instruments, markets, and macro-economic processes.
  • Ability to lead and motivate team members, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a sales orientation, ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Estimated Salary: ₹25-35 lakhs per annum, depending on location and experience.
