Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building and deploying AWS cloud solutions. This includes managing AWS services to ensure availability and performance, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues across dev, test and prod environments.

You will work closely with Infrastructure and Product teams on AWS architecture and design, and assist with Proof-of-Concepts, proposals and technical documentation.

To succeed in this role, you must have certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, or equivalent experience. You should also have hands-on experience with AWS services like API Gateway, S3, ECS/EKS/Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail.

In addition to technical knowledge, you should possess strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, effective communication skills, ability to mentor peers, attention to detail, multitasking, and a strong desire to learn.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or equivalent experience)
  • AWS Experience: 3+ years with hands-on experience in services like API Gateway, S3, ECS/EKS/Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, CloudTrail
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform/CloudFormation
  • Technical Knowledge: Networking (routing, switching, firewalls), Windows & Linux server administration, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit, Confluence, etc.), WebLogic or similar app servers
  • Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, Effective communication (technical to non-technical staff), Ability to mentor peers, Attention to detail, multitasking, and strong desire to learn
