Animation Supervisor Job

We are seeking an experienced Animation Supervisor to lead our team in the field of animation. This role involves providing training on Autodesk Maya and Blender software, as well as teaching animation and rigging techniques in various styles.

The successful candidate will be able to provide effective and efficient training to in-house animators and riggers, as well as share their experience as an animator and rigger in the world of global cinema.

This is a part-time position, approximately 5-10 hours/week, working remotely only. The ideal candidate will have mastery of animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in adjusting animation style to suit the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing software training using Autodesk Maya and Blender
  • Teaching animation and rigging techniques in various styles
  • Mentoring junior animators and riggers

Requirements:

  • Mastery of animation and rigging using Blender and Maya software
  • Mastery of animation principles and the ability to apply them flexibly
  • Problem-solving skills, including addressing animation issues independently of tools
  • Adaptability in adjusting animation style to suit the project
  • Ability to create rigging that facilitates animators (controllers and sliders)

  • Willingsness to provide weekly reviews individually or in groups remotely
  • Assistance in designing training assignments and providing feedback

Working Conditions:

  • Part-time: approximately 5-10 hours/week
