Job Description

As a seasoned Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and owning support tickets related to existing customer services. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing changes as per client requirements.

This high-profile position demands close collaboration with the Service Desk team and the Solution Delivery team to provide top-notch support and configuration tasks. Key responsibilities include regular communication with existing customers, providing support for incoming queries and escalations, and taking ownership of support tickets for incidents, change, and service requests.

Some of your key duties will also involve project planning and completion, documentation of customer solutions, DR/Failover Testing, providing support and mentoring to junior engineers, and contributing resources to the solution delivery team for new customer projects.

Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotas out of hours for high-priority incidents and perform any other fair and reasonable tasks assigned by senior staff members.

  • Switching: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, HP, Dell, Juniper
  • Wireless: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba
  • Security: Palo Alto, Prisma, Fortinet, Cisco ASA
  • SD-WAN: Citrix, Viptela, Meraki, Fortinet, Nuage
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable knowledge at CCNP (ENT/DC/SP/SEC) or JNCIP-ENT level
  • In-depth knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting network security devices/protocols
  • Ability to troubleshoot and isolate faults to identify root cause and bring to resolution
  • Advanced knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols
  • Experience using at least one of the following firewalls: Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco ASA
