Job Overview

The role of Market Risk Analyst revolves around identifying and mitigating potential risks within financial markets. This dynamic position demands a thorough understanding of market dynamics and the ability to analyze complex data sets.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze and investigate risk and profit/loss numbers across regulatory frameworks such as Basel 2.5 and FRTB.
  • Support the Front Office in analyzing the impact of scenarios and managing risk appetite.
  • Identify, validate, escalate, and remediate data issues and control gaps with Market Risk/Credit Control/Procurement teams.
  • Report end-of-day Value at Risk (VaR) Flash and pricing errors to Risk Managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • MBA or equivalent master's degree in finance from reputable institutions required.
  • CFA/FRM certifications are desirable.
