About the Team

  • The AI team is responsible for designing and developing AI models that support key workflows for IDfy.
  • We use a combination of conventional and deep learning models to ensure accurate and efficient performance.
  • The team comprises individuals with diverse backgrounds and expertise.
  • We work closely with business and product teams to create tailored solutions for our customers.

About the Role

As a Senior AI Software Engineer, you will be responsible for

  • Developing and deploying production-ready AI models, including data acquisition, training, and deployment.
  • Optimizing model performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting AI systems.
  • Researching and implementing new technologies to enhance our AI platform.
  • Designing and implementing data workflows for training and production systems.
  • Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.

About You

We are looking for an experienced machine learning engineer or data scientist with 3-6 years of experience in data science.

Key requirements include

  • Experience in framing and solving problems using machine learning or deep learning models.
  • Expertise in either computer vision or NLP, with a proven track record of production system experience.
  • Familiarity with generative AI, including fine-tuning models and utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Understanding of the importance of model maintenance and high-performance system management.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, HuggingFace, Spacy, and other relevant tools.
  • Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in AI.
  • Ability to design and implement APIs.
  • Experience with AI systems on at least one cloud provider: AWS Sagemaker, GCP VertexAI, AzureML.

Preferred qualifications include

  • Familiarity with functional programming languages like Go and Elixir.
  • Knowledge of MLOps and tooling, particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with other AI platforms, frameworks, and tools.
