Job Opportunity: Anaplan Model Developer

 

As a seasoned Anaplan Model Builder, you will be instrumental in crafting and refining business solutions for our organization. Your primary role will involve collaborating closely with team leads and senior consultants to analyze new requirements, configure and build solutions, and troubleshoot production issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and delivering high-quality reporting dashboards that effectively present complex data insights.
  • Facilitating seamless communication among data integration and migration teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Possessing a deep understanding of Anaplan's technical capabilities, including Lists, Modules, Data Hubs, New UX, ALM, and other relevant areas.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest Anaplan features and best practices, particularly Space Optimization and Formula Tuning.
  • Leading the resolution of production support issues based on severity and coordinating with other teams to resolve them efficiently.
  • Overseeing existing Anaplan models, building new modules/models as needed, and ensuring they are well-documented.
  • Learning and supporting emerging finance platforms like Coupa, staying adaptable to changing technologies.
  • Preparing detailed documentation, such as design specifications, technical specs, data flow diagrams, and business architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to develop and support integrations between systems.
  • Developing comprehensive test plans and executing test scripts to ensure solution quality and reliability.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Planning principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and create order out of chaos.
  • 6+ years of experience in supporting enterprise-scale financial platforms, such as Anaplan, Coupa, Oracle, etc.
  • 5+ years' experience as an Anaplan Model Builder, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Level 3 Model Building expertise, with a solid understanding of advanced Anaplan concepts.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise platforms and their integrations through middleware using MuleSoft/Boomi.
  • Hands-on experience creating technical artifacts, such as Tech Specs, Data Flow Diagrams, and Business Architecture Diagrams.
  • Ability to operate effectively within sprint cycles using Agile/Scrum framework methodologies.
  • Capacity to learn new systems/processes quickly and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently from remote locations with minimal oversight.
  • Demonstrated pro-activeness in taking on broader organizational initiatives to improve process maturity.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with APIs (SOAP, REST) and other integration patterns is beneficial.
