Senior Information Technology Specialist

The primary goal of an IT Support Engineer is to ensure seamless functionality across all IT systems, infrastructures and services. This encompasses end-user support, networking, servers, and IT systems management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support Services: Provide comprehensive technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
- Infrastructure Monitoring: Regularly monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, storage, networks, and associated systems.
- User Incident Management: Effectively handle user requests and incidents through the use of IT helpdesk/ticketing systems.
- User Account Administration: Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups within Active Directory/Office 365 environments.
- Troubleshooting Network Connectivity: Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Collaboration with External Partners: Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud computing technologies.
- A strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, and related protocols.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.
