Bakery Specialist

This position involves preparing various pastry and dessert items according to recipes and photos.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up pastry displays, assisting with food transportation, and maintaining a clean and sanitized working area.

• Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare pastry and dessert menu items according to provided recipes and photos
• Set up pastry displays on buffets as needed
• Assist with transportation of food items from main stores to pastry galley when assigned
• Clean and sanitize working area and utensils following USPH rules and regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred)
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency requirement
