We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and team leadership to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Azure Cloud, particularly with services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Flows, Azure Databricks, and Azure Key Vault. The role involves orchestrating data migration from on-premises to cloud environments, developing data pipelines, and ensuring data integration and optimization across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of data solutions to Azure Cloud using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, and integrate data with Azure Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines to load, transform, and integrate data efficiently across various Azure services.
  • Oversee the development of complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for data loading and transformation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of data from on-premises to Azure environments.
  • Manage a team of 3-4 Data Engineers, providing technical guidance and leadership to ensure successful project execution.
  • Collaborate on designing and developing data warehouses, business intelligence solutions, and data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Leverage PySpark for data processing and analytics within the Azure Databricks environment.
  • Ensure best practices for data security, governance, and compliance across all cloud-based data systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across the data pipeline, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of data.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in working with Azure Cloud and its components: Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Flows, Azure Databricks, and Azure Key Vault.
  • Strong hands-on experience in orchestrating data migrations from on-premises environments to Azure cloud.
  • Expertise in PySpark for data processing and orchestration within cloud environments.
  • Extensive experience in building and managing data integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
