Job Summary

As a Wireless Network Development Engineer at ADCI - Karnataka, you will play a critical role in delivering software-defined, automated, and incrementally scalable Wireless network infrastructure products that improve the reliability of our wireless services supporting Amazon's fulfillment centers and transportation sites worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions that improve the availability of our wireless network technologies.
- Understand customer needs and create technical solutions utilizing wired networking technologies.
- Define and meter the availability of our existing and future network solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed the needs of our customers.
- Identify and deliver solutions that reduce operational impact to customers and enable them with scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized services.
- Dive deep on complex problems that identify root causes of our customer impacts, developing and delivering corrective actions.
- Evaluate new technologies, lab test/certify solutions, conduct proof of concepts, run books definition, and lead pilot deployments.
- Innovate and automate infrastructure testing, deployment, operations, and life cycle management.
- Define the strategy for future team processes and tools which improve how we maintain and manage the infrastructure effectively, efficiently, and safely.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from an accredited institution.
- 4+ years of practical relevant experience in large-scale Wireless networking operations and engineering.
- Excellent knowledge of wireless networking technologies (802.11 & RF).
- Deep understanding of fundamentals and packet capture analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working in a UNIX/Linux environment, and software development is highly desired, specifically in Python.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of other networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing and LAN switching).
- Ability to support follow-the-sun shifts and on-call, including weekends/Public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering.
- Experience operating high-density AP and client deployments.
- Working knowledge of network technologies and concepts including: DHCP, DNS, STP, BGP, Underlay and Overlay, SDWAN Working knowledge of Cisco/Mist solutions in large scale global deployments.
- Mastery automating in Python, Java or other languages.
- Good knowledge of Ekahau or other site survey software.
- CCNP/CWNA or equivalent certifications.
- Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
