This is a remote opportunity.
We are seeking self-driven, highly motivated, and customer-obsessed team members to enhance our Cloud Architecture & Advisory team.
The candidate will act as a primary point of contact for the customer on technical topics and will work closely with internal teams during the sales cycle. They will perform as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for the customer on S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition topic and its offerings. The candidate needs to be a strong team player in supporting other team members as and when required.
Scope of learning new technologies on SAP Products (S/4HANA, HANA Database, MDG, SaaS Products (Ariba, Salesforce etc.) & Cloud (AWS, Azure OR GCP)
- Access to all internal training & learning materials to gain knowledge in latest technologies.
- Exposure to all latest build architectures in one single place/position which will be valuable/useful in future.
- Will not be assigned/dedicated to one single customer but will engage with multiple customers in various industries to gain knowledge about different SAP Landscape setups, Delivery processes & Challenges.
Expectations and tasks:
- Present in detail the RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition service offerings and value proposition to the customers (usually to CIOs, IT managers, datacenter managers, and SAP Technology staff)
- Support and organize technical responses to RFP / RFIs.
- Blueprint customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.
- Work to generate pricing and provide ongoing deal support to sales teams.
- Own the technical discussions with the customer on the Private Cloud Edition topic and act as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required.
Benefits and Opportunities
- Proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration required from an accredited university.
- Good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
- Good understanding of entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)
- Good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition
- Good understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform
- English native speaker, any other language an asset
Requirements and Qualifications
- 7-12 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg, Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, etc.)
- Experience with hosting providers and data centers is a BIG advantage; HANA/Suite on HANA skills would be very helpful, but not mandatory.
- Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor is necessary.
About this role
This is a customer-facing role where you will support the sales teams during the entire cycle of a RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. This role does not involve hands-on activities.
