Job Description:

We are excited to be associated with a prominent firm of Certified Public Accountants and Advisors, serving diverse industries with Assurance, Advisory, Risk, and Compliance services.

Their team of dedicated professionals has extensive experience in providing SSAE 21 (SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 3) services. They are also a PCI QSA Company and HITRUST CSF Assessor Firm.

Most of their professionals have experience working with top-tier accounting firms and have completed hundreds of financial audits, SSAE 21 (SOC 1 / SOC 2 / SOC 3) examinations, and other attestation services.

We seek an experienced IT Audit Consultant who is well-versed in SSAE 21 (SOC Reporting) and other AICPA standards. You will assist Senior IT Audit Consultants and report to Managers, Executive Directors, or CEOs.

This role requires an individual who can take initiative, improve relationships, and processes, driving the firm's image and level of service.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in planning activities to identify client needs and service opportunities.
  • Managing growth and service delivery of engagements, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) Examinations, PCI DSS Assessments, HITRUST Assessments, and IT Audits.
  • Designing and executing high-quality audit procedures.
  • Creating and implementing audit strategy relating to evaluation of significant applications relevant to financial audits.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, collaboration, leadership, and project management abilities.

A bachelor's degree and minimum two years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately one to two years of related work experience are required. Experience with auditing IT General Controls and Business Process Controls is advantageous.
