AWS Cloud Data Specialist Role
At our organization, we're expanding our data engineering team and seeking experienced professionals to build world-class cloud-native data solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in AWS services and data engineering principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Data pipeline creation: Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines on AWS for efficient data processing.
- Develop scalable and performance-driven data models using various tools and technologies.
- Write complex SQL queries for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
- 7-14 years of experience in AWS data engineering with expertise in big data and cloud-native ecosystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex data engineering challenges.
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in a hybrid environment with a mix of on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
Must-Have Skills:
- PySpark – advanced performance optimization:
- AWS Services – Redshift, Glue, Athena, Lambda, DMS, RDS, CloudFormation:
- SQL – strong query-writing and optimization:
- ETL Development – pipelines for structured & unstructured data:
- Python – robust coding skills:
- Data Modeling – scalable and performance-driven design:
