As a Cloud Security Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning, security, and reliability of our organization's applications within the Agile Development Team. You will be responsible for providing technical support for Cloud-based applications hosted on AWS, resolving application-related issues, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing technical support for application-related queries and problems. Diagnose and troubleshoot application problems, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and usability concerns.
  • Provide expert-level support for applications hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Assist in the deployment and management of applications on Cloud platforms. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and others.
  • Monitor and maintain the security of applications, systems, and networks. Implement security best practices and policies to safeguard data and mitigate risks. Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Respond to security incidents promptly, investigate breaches, and implement remediation measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in application support and security implementation.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile Development Teams.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies. AWS preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and common security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience with security tools such as static code analysis, web application firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Understanding of programming languages such as JavaScript or Python.
  • Knowledge and experience of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
