As a highly skilled accounting professional, you will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our clients' financial records.

Maintain accurate financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping purposes. Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping purposes.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure tax compliance in collaboration with senior advisors, including GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.
  • Assemble working paper packages for financial statements, showcasing your organizational skills.
  • Onboard Canadian clients by ensuring a smooth transition and integration into our accounting systems and processes.
  • Perform data entry tasks as needed to maintain the integrity of client information.
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation, demonstrating a strong grasp of accounting standards (IFRS/ASPE/GAAP), taxation, and compliance.
  • Oversee payroll tasks, including client onboarding, payroll processing, and communication with clients via email and phone.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field, such as B. Com, M. Com, CAs.
  • Intermediate Chartered Accountants (Inter CAs) looking for employment or those who have completed articleship.

You must be able to work independently and collaboratively, handle multiple clients and work pressure, and possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with a good understanding of the Canadian and American accent.
