Job Title: Quality Assurance Expert

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Expert to lead our testing efforts and ensure high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Mission Statement:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in QA processes, automation frameworks, and agile methodologies, driving quality-first practices within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze new requirements and use cases to define testing strategies.
  • Validate system configurations and ensure alignment with product requirements.
  • Conduct regression, functional, system, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify and prioritize high-risk areas to prevent defect leakage.

Test Automation & CI/CD Integration

Deliverables:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automation scripts using Selenium with Java-based frameworks.
  • Automate regression and smoke test cases, reducing manual testing efforts.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
  • Identify opportunities for shift-left testing and implement early defect detection.

Agile Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Agile Coaches.
  • Ensure testing is embedded within agile sprints, driving quality-first practices.
  • Provide test execution reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous QA process improvements and optimize testing frameworks.

Leadership & Mentorship

Goals:

  • Lead the QA team, ensuring best practices and consistent testing standards.
  • Mentor and coach team members on domain knowledge, automation, and testing methodologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for defects and drive preventive actions.
  • Facilitate domain/technical training sessions within the team.
