Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Accounting Operations Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing invoices, responding to queries, and ensuring timely payment of these invoices.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and validating basic essentials of valid invoices, such as supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice date, etc.
  • Maintaining a tracker of exceptions and ensuring that invoices and queries are handled based on the exception tracker.
  • Independently performing transactional tasks that support compliance, planning, and execution of assigned processes.
  • Maintaining exception logs for process-related exceptions and following up with requisitions via calls, mails, or tickets to seek hold invoices as per AP guidelines.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong educational background in Commerce (B Com) or equivalent.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office, especially in Excel, and preferably Concur.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to handle varied volumes of workloads while meeting targets and deadlines.
