Job Title: Freelance Shopify Developer

We are seeking a skilled e-commerce developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in custom theme and app development. The role is project-based, with the opportunity to work on exciting builds that require deep technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

 

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and experience in Shopify App Development (private/public apps). They will also be familiar with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and have hands-on experience with custom checkout flows, B2B features, and app integrations.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Theme Development: Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Custom Functionality: Build custom functionalities and features tailored to project requirements.
  • Integration: Integrate third-party applications and APIs with Shopify.
  • Store Optimization: Optimize store performance for speed, mobile, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve Shopify-related issues.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Shopify Experience: 3–4 years of proven Shopify development experience (freelance or agency).
  • Technical Skills: Strong command of Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, and experience in Shopify App Development.
  • API Knowledge: Familiarity with Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
  • Checkout Flows: Hands-on experience with custom checkout flows, B2B features, and app integrations.
  • Design Understanding: Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
