Technical Data Authoring Program: Technical Data Authoring
Airbus Customer Services offers a unique opportunity to join the Operational Unit "Technical Data Support and Services", which focuses on developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation to ensure the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by customers.
The main products developed are AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), and IPC (Illustrated Part Catalogue). Our primary mission is to deliver complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and maintain it throughout the aircraft life cycle, meeting airworthiness requirements.
Main responsibilities:
1. Creation of Technical Data Authoring activities of a Manual in accordance with specifications and quality standards, contractual commitments, configuration management rules, and approved schedules.
2. Innovation and process improvements in the technical data perimeter.
3. Assessment of aircraft design inputs (Mod & Mod Proposal, Service Bulletin, ...) to detect impacts in the technical documentation.
4. Coordination with customer services departments, design offices, airlines, and suppliers.
5. The jobholder plays a key role in continuous improvements for Technical Data processes & tools and transnational standardization of ways of working.
6. Ensure and maintain compliance with EASA/FAA regulations (ICA process) and EN9100 for their own technical scope and perimeter of responsibility.
7. Provide continuous and efficient support to customers and all users of the Maintenance.
Requirements:
Technical skills: Must Have Engineer level with basic knowledge of Aircraft, Knowledge of aircraft Systems, Aircraft maintenance, Aircraft configuration Management, very good English level (written and oral).
Soft skills: Team spirit is a must, Agile, adaptable, open-minded, and able to think out of the box.
Specialization/Stream: Mechanical/Aerospace engineering/AME specialization with very good knowledge, interest in Aircraft & Maintenance Processes.
This role requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
