Job Title: Assistant Maintenance Manager

Description:

  • A key position within our organization's maintenance team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring the effective functioning of plant equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

We seek an individual with a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Relevant certifications such as Energy Manager, Boiler Engineer, TPM Facilitator, and Six Sigma will be advantageous. Experience in large-scale dairy, food, or pharmaceutical plant environments is crucial, with at least 10 years of experience in maintenance and utilities management.

  • Maintenance experience with milk processing equipment, including evaporators, dryers, pasteurizers, separators, bactofuges, vacuum pumps, DSI, high-pressure pumps, blowers, fluid bed, sifters, cheddar masters, and cookers.
  • Utilities equipment expertise includes boiler and steam networks, ammonia and freon-based refrigeration systems, compressed air and nitrogen generation systems, VAM, RO, UF, sand and carbon filters, pumps, DG sets, transformers, etc.
  • Advanced maintenance practices include root cause analysis, corrective action procedures, mean time between failures, mean time to repair, preventive and predictive maintenance, electronics equipment monitoring tools, and tackles.
  • Responsibilities include preparing and monitoring maintenance budgets, setting and improving energy standards, identifying and executing cost and energy-saving ideas, execution and achievement of plant KPIs, productivity, losses and complaint reduction, specific energy consumption, production lines OEE improvement, people management, performance assessment, human safety culture inculcation, analytical thought process, liaisoning with government agencies, CapEx, project execution, AI, ML application, EMS, etc.
