As a data professional, you will play a key role in designing and building large-scale data processing systems on the Microsoft Azure platform. Your primary focus will be on leveraging SQL, Data Vault, Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, Azure Synapse, Pipelines, Delta Lake, and Databricks to drive business insights and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential for this role.
  • Experience with Apache Spark for data processing (Python version) will help you design efficient data pipelines.
  • You should have a solid understanding of Delta files and Lakehouse architecture.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts or hands-on experience is necessary for effectively using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Setting up end-to-end analytics, managing Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture, working with Apache Spark, and Delta Lake tables are crucial skills for this position.
  • Utilizing Direct Lake access for Power BI reports and creating pipelines with Data Factory capabilities will enhance your ability to handle multi-step data ingestion and transformation tasks.
  • Securing and administering Microsoft Fabric data warehouses will also be part of your responsibilities.

Practical experience with setting up data warehouses, integrating them with other analytics components, and learning how to secure and administer the platform effectively will make you a successful candidate for this role. Additionally, knowledge of Power BI and its integration with Azure services will be beneficial. We're looking for individuals who can efficiently process and analyze large datasets, create scalable data architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
