Job Title:

Accounts Receivable Manager

Job Description:

  • The incumbent will oversee the entire Order to Cash process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing with supporting documentation.

  • They will be responsible for reviewing client contracts to prevent discrepancies in invoicing, identify and resolve billing errors and disputes, and communicate with clients via email and phone.

  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records of invoices and payments, generating reports on collections, and conducting client visits as required.

  • The incumbent must have a solid understanding of e-invoicing, GST, TDS, and GST-TDS compliance, as well as proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • A graduate degree in Commerce or MBA Finance is preferred, with a minimum of 7-8 years' experience in AR (Billing & Collections) and 2-3 years in people management roles.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Order to Cash process including billing, collections, and dispute resolution.

  2. Ensure accurate and timely invoicing as per SLAs, with all supporting documentation.

  3. Review client contracts to prevent any discrepancies in invoicing.

  4. Proactively identify and resolve issues such as billing errors, late payments, and AR reconciliations.

  5. Communicate with clients via email and phone for collection of overdue payments.

  6. Record customer feedback and facilitate prompt resolution.

  7. Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Tax) for timely issue resolution.

  8. Ensure achievement of team KPIs and individual deliverables.

  9. Monitor and manage collections in line with contract TATs.

  10. Generate accurate and timely reports for collections.

  11. Raise payment release requests to Treasury for salary disbursements to associates.

  12. Conduct client visits as required.

  13. Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to management.

  14. Drive continuous process improvements and best practices.

  15. Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.

Qualifications Required:

  • Graduate in Commerce. MBA Finance will be preferable
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS Excel
