About the Role

We are seeking a technically proficient and compliance-aware IT professional to support and enhance our IT infrastructure within a finance-regulated environment.

  • Resolve 95% of IT-related issues within defined service level agreements, ensure 98% user satisfaction, and maintain high-quality deliverables with minimal downtime.
  • Conduct quarterly risk assessments and implement proactive measures to mitigate potential threats.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize services on cloud platforms, including AWS and Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, to facilitate efficient communication and collaboration.
  • Configure and enforce policies using Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, ensuring secure access and data protection.
  • Conduct and support Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Implement and monitor security controls aligned with financial regulatory frameworks, maintaining a strong security posture.
  • Maintain endpoint protection and threat detection using Defender and other tools, ensuring real-time monitoring and incident response.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, including FortiGate, Sophos, and SonicWall, to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • Monitor network traffic, enforce segmentation, and troubleshoot connectivity issues, ensuring optimal network performance.
  • Administer Linux servers and automate tasks using PowerShell, Python, or Bash, streamlining operations and improving efficiency.
  • Maintain detailed records of configurations, incidents, and compliance reports, facilitating audit preparation and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing audit documentation and responding to regulatory inquiries, ensuring transparent and compliant processes.
  • Maintain system health, patching, and performance optimization across platforms, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
  • Support VPN, secure remote access, and intrusion prevention systems, enabling secure and efficient remote work.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to long-term IT strategy, driving business growth and success.
  • Collaborate across teams to meet project goals on time, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Conduct bi-annual disaster recovery drills, testing contingency plans and ensuring business continuity.
  • Implement at least two cost-saving initiatives annually, driving operational efficiency and reducing expenses.

Qualifications and Competencies

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in IT, preferably with experience in finance or regulated industries. The ideal candidate should possess excellent technical skills, including knowledge of cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, Intune, and MDM. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is also critical.
