Job Title: Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge and artistic flair, with the ability to create detailed designs and plans for custom millwork projects.

The primary responsibility of this role is to review architectural drawings and specifications to understand project requirements. Using computer-aided design (CAD) software, the designer will create 2D and 3D models, including detailed plans, layouts, and renderings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing mechanical millwork projects, including casework, cabinetry Joinery technics, and other custom woodwork.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop detailed and accurate mechanical millwork designs.
  • Creating 3D models and generating 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Conducting site visits to take measurements and gather information needed for design development.
  • Preparing material and hardware selection and producing accurate bills of materials.
  • Optimizing designs for functionality, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Creating production documents, including shop drawings, fabrication plans, and installation instructions.
  • Reviewing and modifying designs based on feedback from team members, clients, and quality control inspections.
  • Collaborating with the production team to address design-related issues during fabrication and installation.
  • Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to enhance design capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AutoCAD expertise and ability to work on architectural and furniture drawings.
  • Hands-on experience in panel optimization and production process management.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP, ERP tools, and 2020 Design Software for furniture design.
