Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Specialist to join our team.

As a key player in designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC controls and electrical SCADA systems at data centers, you will develop project scopes, manage building management system improvement projects, assist in procurement activities, and support commissioning efforts.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing project scopes for building management system and power management projects, including schedule, budget, and level of effort.
  • Managing scope, schedule, finance, and execution of building management system improvement projects.
  • Assisting in procurement activities, including request for quotation/proposal and review of vendors' proposals.
  • Supporting control projects related commissioning activities in the data centers.
  • Conducting engineering analysis and research on designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
  • Ensuring designs and installations meet requirements, such as predicted cooling, structural, and operational concerns.
  • Developing data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.

Candidate Requirements

A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience is required.

Ten years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC controls and electrical SCADA systems is preferred.

Experience with industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems, is essential.

Proficiency in TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, MODBUS communication protocols, and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
