The Role: Business Risk Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in operational risk management to join our team. As a Business Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks in our Private Bank. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing controls, developing and testing key procedures, creating and reviewing key risk indicators, and registering risk events, managing and delivering risk incident reports.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and assess risks in our Private Bank, developing sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks.
  • Design and implement effective controls to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and test key procedures to ensure robust risk management practices.
  • Create and review key risk indicators to provide early warning signs of potential issues.
  • Register and manage risk events, delivering timely and accurate risk incident reports.
Requirements
  • A 2:1 degree from a top university.
  • 6+ years of experience in operational risk management in financial services.
  • Experience in private banking or wealth management, preferably with a track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and organize complex data.
  • An organized and methodical approach, with excellent interpersonal skills.
